Attacking Vikings on top in Wengen

Fri. 15. January

Norway's Kjetil Jansrud and Aksel Lund Svindal topped the podium after the Alpine Combined in Wengen. This was a very tight Alpine Combined with Jansrud 0,04 seconds before Svindal and 0,13 seconds before Adrien Theaux from France, filling the podium with three downhill specialists. Svindal was in the lead after the downhill round, followed by Theaux. Jansrud being 0,90 seconds behind did the best slalom of the three speed guys.

Aleksander Aamodt Kilde did not finish the slalom part, and the leader of the total World Cup Marcel Hirscher had chosen not to start in this Alpine Combination.
