Kristoffersen continues to win SL

Mon. 16. January

Henrik Kristoffersen continues to win slalom races one after the other, while the speed racers are waiting week after week for opportunities to compete in downhill races. Since the downhill in Val Gardena before Christmas two downhill races have been cancelled due to weather conditions, and there are no possibilities to replace these races later in the season. This is of course a major disadvantage for the speed racers with no opportunities to collect points in the overall World Cup. The snowfall also created problems for the Alpine Combined in Wengen last Friday. So let's hope for good and fair speed races in Kitzbuhel next week and Garmisch Partenkirchen the week after. And we look forward to two downhill races (one replaces Lake Louise) and one Super-G in Kvitfjell February 24 - 26 and hope for the same brillliant conditions as we had last year. And we hope that Aksel Lund Svindal will be able to join the Attacking Vikings Kjetil Jansrud and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde already in Kitzbuhel and for the rest of the season.
